I got my flowers!!!
I hadn't put a whole lot of thought into the flowers thing when I saw these up for sale. I figured I was going to use silk flowers because the flowers aren't that important to me and they're so (SO) expensive. I know that there's a real/silk flowers debate going on in the wedding world, and I fall squarely on the side of silk. It's true that up close they don't usually look quite as nice and they don't smell as nice and you'll always *know* that the flowers were fake even if they look real in the pictures. But, since Disney currently charges $325 for the bouquet I want and $300/each for the bridesmaids bouquet that I want, I'm fine having paid $150 for all of the flowers we'll need!
I got an extraordinary deal on these flowers because another Disney bride purchased them, changed her mind about the real/silk idea, and then had trouble selling them after she committed to buying real flowers. Luckily, her flowers are white and Cinderella blue, which is perfect (especially now that they will probably be the only blue in the ceremony). For $150 I got:
1 bridal bouquet1 toss bouquet5 bridesmaid bouquets9 boutonnieres6 corsages5 bags of flower petalsIf I had purchased the exact same list through Disney floral, it would have cost me $2208 + tax, not including the flower petals. It's true that Disney has some beautiful flowers, but thats a $2,000+ difference in cost. And you know what? My flowers are completely beautiful...I actually took a bunch of pictures and you can't tell...
